THANK YOU BOOK

Recently... I was reading a book and came across the following passage.....

A conversation happens between two persons and one of them says.... "Long ago I learned that there is no day so dark and gloomy that it does not contain some ray of light, and I have made it one business of my life to write down the little things which mean so much me. I have a book marked for every day of every year since I completed my school. It is but a little thing: the new dress, the chat with a friend, the thoughtfulness of a beloved one, a flower, a book, a walk in the field, a letter, a concert, or a drive.... All these go into my book which I always call as "Pleasure Book" and when I am inclined to fret, I read a few page to see what a happy, blessed person I am."

The moment I read the above passage.... I just thought the way I take my life... Everyday of my life has different events... Lots of things happen in life... But most of the time I had taken them for granted... Wouldn't it be nice if I can record the happy moments of everyday in a notebook and thank the Lord for the things that had happened during the day... I am going have one starting today and will called in "THANK YOU BOOK"... As days go by this would become a treasure for me to look back and see the goodness that the Lord has done to me everyday of my life...

Hope you too would start your "THANK YOU BOOK."

Don’t Give Up

I recently had the chance to read this inspiration... Hope you would like it...

One day I decided to quit...
I decided quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I asked, "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me...
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light.
I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said.
"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit.
In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit." He said.
"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
He asked me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots".
"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you."
"Don't compare yourself to others."
He said. "The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern.
Yet they both make the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come", God said to me.
"You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and brought back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.
Never, Never, Never Give up.

Even if we feel hopeless... God is full of hope about our lives... He cares for you... Jesus loves you more than anyone in this world... One thing that we have to hold on is to Him... and He will take care of the rest...

Have a blessed day!!! Keep smiling... Thank God...

THE MOUNTAIN CLIMBER

They tell the story of a mountain climber, who desperate to conquer theAconcagua, initiated his climb after years of preparation. But he wantedthe glory to himself, therefore, he went up alone. He started climbing andit was becoming later, and later. He did not prepare for camping butdecided to keep on going. Soon it got dark...

Night fell with heaviness at a very high altitude. Visibility was zero.Everything was black. There was no moon, and the stars were covered byclouds. As he was climbing a ridge at about 100 meters from the top, heslipped and fell. Falling rapidly he could only see blotches of darknessthat passed. He felt a terrible sensation of being sucked in by gravity.

He kept falling....and in those anguishing moments good and bad memoriespassed through his mind. He thought certainly he would die. But then hefelt a jolt that almost tore him in half. Yes!! Like any good mountainclimber he had staked himself with a long rope tied to his waist.

In those moments of stillness, suspended in the air he had no other choicebut to shout, "HELP ME GOD", "HELP ME!"

All of a sudden he heard a deep voice from heaven..."What do you want me to do?"

"SAVE ME"

"Do you REALLY think that I can save you?"

"OF COURSE, MY GOD"

"Then cut the rope that is holding you up." There was another moment of silence and stillness. The man just held tighterto the rope. The rescue team says that the next day they found, a frozen mountain climberhanging strongly to a rope... TWO FEET OFF THE GROUND.

How about you? How trusting are you in that rope? Why don't you let it go?I tell you, God has great and marvelous thing for you.

CUT THE ROPE AND SIMPLY TRUST IN HIM...
